I’m Ed Brickell, a three-time (2025-2026) Best of the Net nominee for poetry, and I live in Dallas, Texas. I’ve been fortunate to have over 50 poems published in numerous literary journals over the past four years. This site is intended as a collection of some of my published poetry, and perhaps an occasional feature or short note about poetry that I feel I want to share. I also enjoy spending a lot of time hiking in New England and elsewhere, that feeling of just starting to read the first chapter of an epic novel or a new-to-me-author’s complete poetry collection, and listening to music of all kinds. I’m housemates with two severely domesticated grey tabby cat sisters, Harper and Maya.
